Fishing Trip Preparation
- Fishing License Requirements:
- Washington:
- Required for everyone 15 years and older.
- Under 15: Free catch record card required for salmon, sturgeon, and steelhead.
- One-day angling license: $11.35 (resident) / $20.15 (non-resident).
- Oregon:
- Required for everyone 12 years and older.
- One-day non-resident fishing license: $23.
- Licenses can be purchased at ODFW/WDFW websites, Walmart, Fred Meyer, Sportsman’s Warehouse, or Fisherman’s Marine.
- Washington:
- Clothing:
- Rain Gear: Recommended, especially if on an open boat.
- Layering: Dress in layers, easier to adjust throughout the day.
- Food & Beverages:
- Lunch & Drinks: Bring your own food and beverage for the trip.
- Alcohol:
- Beer is allowed on the boat, but please drink responsibly.
- Gear:
- All fishing gear will be provided.
- Trip Confirmation:
- Desmond will contact clients 1-2 days before the trip to confirm meeting location and departure time.
